Pontoon stolen from Grand Lake dock

A boat has been stolen in Wellington.

RCMP say the 23-foot 2018 Bennington triple pontoon went missing sometime between 8 p.m. on Friday, July 19 and 7:30 a.m. on Saturday, July 20 while it was docked at a home on Grand Lake.

“The dock lines were found cut and still attached to the cleats on the dock,” police said in a news release.

The pontoon had an outboard Evinrude 115 horsepower two-stroke motor.

Anyone with information is asked to contact Halifax District RCMP at 902 490-5020, or submit an anonymous tip through Crime Stoppers.
