RCMP officer charged with sexual assault in Ontario

An RCMP officer has been charged with sexual assault in Ontario.
Police in Sudbury have been investigating an October 2 incident that they allege took place between Cst. Filip Kedzierski and a woman while he was off duty.
Cst. Kedzierski was posted to the Musquodoboit Harbour detachment at the time.
He was charged in November and remains suspended with pay.
Kedzierski appeared in court in Sudbury on Tuesday and will make another appearance at a later date.
“An internal Code of Conduct investigation is also underway in relation to Cst. Kedzierski's conduct,” said RCMP in a news release. “Any further actions will be taken once the criminal proceedings and conduct investigation have concluded.”
