Suspect arrested after man robbed at knifepoint

A suspect is in custody after a late morning robbery in the north end Thursday.

Halifax Regional Police were called to the intersection of Almon and Agricola streets at around 11:30 a.m.

When officers arrived, the victim told them a man he knew pulled a knife on him and got away with some cash.

A suspect was arrested near Gottingen and Buddy Daye streets.

The 56-year-old is scheduled to in court Friday on charges of robbery and uttering death threats.
