Two men reportedly try to grab child

It happened at around 5 p.m. Wednesday while the 10-year-old was walking on Olivet Street

Halifax Regional Police are investigating after two men got out of a van and reportedly tried to grab a child.

They say it happened at around 5 p.m. Wednesday while the 10-year-old was walking on Olivet Street.

The child was able to run away and tell an adult.

Both men appeared to be in their 40s. One is described as having a grey beard and was wearing black clothes, and the other was bald.

Anyone with information or video from the area is asked to contact police at 902-490-5020 or submit an anonymous tip through Crime Stoppers.
