Woman charged in thefts from vehicles

A woman is facing several charges in relation to thefts from vehicles.

RCMP were told a suspicious person appeared to be checking out vehicles on Judy Ave. in Lower Sackville Sunday morning.

When they arrived, they arrested a suspect.

Laura Anne Crosby is scheduled to appear in court today on charges of theft under $5,000 and possession of stolen property.

Mounties say the 33-year-old has also been charged with six counts of theft under $5,000, eight counts of possession of stolen property, 20 counts of fraud, six counts of theft of a credit card and six counts of trespassing at night in relation to thefts from vehicles in Lucasville and Eastern Passage.
