Mooseheads top Voltigeurs 5-2

The Halifax Mooseheads scored three straight goals in the final period of a 5-2 win over the Drummondville Voltigeurs on Thursday.

After a scoreless first period, Luke Woodworth opened up the scoring and gave Drummondville a 1-0 lead.

Attilio Biasca answered back to tie things up but Woodworth quickly responded with his second of the period to put the Voltigeurs back up.

Markus Vidicek roofed it late in the period to tie things up at 2-2 heading into the third.

Jordan Dumais, James Swan and Braeden MacPhee then scored three straight to help give Halifax a 5-2 win.

The Mooseheads will make their way to Moncton to take on the Wildcats on Sunday.
