Police pull over more impaired drivers

A couple more drunk drivers in HRM have been relieved of their driving privileges.

Police say a 19-year-old man was pulled over on the Bedford Highway Monday night while a 62-year-old man was apprehended on Dartmouth’s Windmill Road.

Neither man was busted at an Operation Christmas checkpoint, but police say that should serve as a warning they’re looking high and low for drunk drivers this time of year.

Meanwhile, Operation Christmas checkpoints stopped about 150 cars Monday night but no impaired drivers were found.
