Shooting suspect faces attempted murder charges

Police have charged a 22-year-old man in relation to a shooting incident in Halifax last summer.
Cst. Brian Palmeter with Halifax Regional Police says a man is facing three attempted murder charges after shots were fired on Spring Garden Road on July 20.
“This incident occurred mid-afternoon, on a very heavy populated street in broad daylight,” says Palmeter.
“And these incidents are very disconcerting for police and were very happy and very satisfied with work put into this file and the fact that charges have been laid.”
The unidentified suspect is currently in custody in the Springhill Penitentiary and will be brought to court at a later date.
