Three seriously injured in Highway 101 crash

A serious head-on collision shut down Highway 101 between exits 12 and 13 Monday evening.
Sgt. Brigdit Leger tells News 95.7 three people were seriously injured when a Volkswagen Jetta and Toyota Camry crashed just before 5 p.m.
“As of now although the injuries are very serious, the status is still being evaluated as we speak, it was a very serious collision,” said Sgt. Leger.
Sgt. Leger says all three victims had to be extracted from the wreckage and were taken to the Valley Regional Hospital.
