Latest shooting not a random act: police

Police say a daylight shooting in the Bayers Road area was not a random act.

A 23 -year-old man was shot in the face in the Bayers Park Apartments Tuesday afternoon. He was treated in hospital for non-life threatening injuries.

The Herald has identified him as Devlin Tyson Glasgow and reports he was arrested while still a teenager in connection with the 2005 shooting of a suspected drug dealer.

Glasgow was convicted of aggravated assault in 2006 and sentenced to three years in prison.

A little over a week ago, he was sentenced for breaching court conditions.

Police say the victim is not cooperating with investigators.
