Cape Breton man calls for coyote bounty

There’s been another incident involving coyotes in Cape Breton.

A young man says he was surrounded by three of the growling animals Saturday walking near his home in the Mira-Marion Bridge area.

Blair Boone tells the Cape Breton Post that when the animals initially approached, he put up his arms and screamed – and they left.

Ten minutes later, they came back, this time surrounding him and growling. He screamed again, but this time the coyotes hardly moved.

Fortunately, a neighbour heard his screaming and when he came out of his house, the coyotes fled.

Boone is calling for a bounty on the animals.
