N.S. gas prices to drop about a penny

The recent steady increases at the gas pumps may take a break tonight.

News 95.7 is predicting a small price drop of about a penny or so a litre from the current price of $1.06.6 in metro.

In New Brunswick, regulated prices rose nearly two cents overnight. Gas is selling for $1.01 or $1.02 in most places.

There’s been a slight drop in wholesale prices this week and the Canadian dollar has remained strong.
