Rain, wind and melting snow on its way

High winds and a whole lot of rain are expected overnight Monday and into Tuesday.

Meterologist Richard Zurawski says ‘the real storm’ is wind gusts, around 80 to 100 km/h.

Temperatures will spike, around 10 degrees overnight, which means a lot of melting snow.

“And on top of that we’re expecting about 30 millimetres of rain so you’ve got localized flooding issues along with the potential for power outages,” says Zurawksi

Zurawski says the ground is still frozen, which could make things slippery, Tuesday morning.
