Teen stabbed in Spryfield

An 18-year-old man has been stabbed in Spryfield.

Halifax Regional Police say they think it happened outside the Quik Way Convenience store, on Herring Cove Road at Sylvia Avenue, around 6 p.m. Wednesday.  The victim has been interviewed, but is not co-operating with officers.

The teen made his way to the hospital around 8 p.m. with a non life-threatening wound to his torso.  A police officer who happened to be at the hospital saw the man come in with the stab wound.

Police say the stabbing was not a random act and the victim knew his attacker, but they have no suspects.
