Premier to address MLA spending scandal

Nova Scotia Premier Darrell Dexter is back in town.

Dexter was on what is believed to have been a two-week southern vacation.  He was out of the province when the MLA expense controversy broke.

The premier’s spokeswoman, Jennifer Stewart, told The Chronicle Herald that the premier arrived home Saturday night, but wasnt taking any calls yesterday.

Today, Dexter is expected to comment on the situation, including his own purchase of a $2,100 digital camera and $5,500 for two laptops.

The premier is expected to meet with reporters at 11:15 a.m.
