Cole Harbour ecstatic over Sid the Kid’s win

A win of epic proportions, for a local hockey hero.

Cole Harbour is bursting with pride at Sidney Crosby’s winning goal last night — on top of all his other accomplishments.

“I don’t know what they should do, but they should recognize him, have a parade for him or something,” said Harold Walker.  “Give him all the recognition you can give him.”

Naming something after Crosby seems to be a popular idea.

“Well they rename everything around here anyway,” David Conrod joked.  “Why not rename a park for Sidney?”

The neighbourhood already has a “Home of Sidney Crosby” sign. “Maybe we should get an updated picture,” joked Katharine MacDonald.

Other suggestions given include renaming Forest Hills Parkway, or Cole Harbour Place.
