Set your clocks ahead or be left behind. Canada returns to Daylight Saving Time Sunday morning.
Psychologist Sheldon Walker says if you want to avoid being Oscar the Grouch on Monday morning, try going to bed a little earlier over the next day or two as your body copes with the time change.
There’s an upside to the shorter night – longer days. With more and more sunshine in the next couple of weeks will cause your brain to release hormones which should put you in a better mood.
In Nova Scotia, and most of the Maritimes, the clocks will go forward one hour at 2 a.m. In Newfoundland and Labrador the same happens at 12:01. Saskatchewan is the only Canadian province which snoozes through the time change.
