Drunk drivers sentenced for separate highway collisions

Two drunk drivers have been handed house arrest and jail time in separate cases.
The Herald reports Stephen Darrell Oulton, 51, of Enfield was sentenced to six months’ house arrest and is prohited from driving for five years.
In 2006, he slammed into a car that was stopped on the Windsor Junction road for another accident. Five people were injured, including an elite soccer player whose injuries prevented her from pursuing a university athletic scholarship.
In the second case, a Queens County woman who crossed the centre line and
hit two cars head-on last year was sentenced to six months in jail.
Two women in the other vehicles were badly hurt and are still recovering from their injuries.
