Woman sexually assaulted while walking the seawall

VANCOUVER (NEWS1130) – Vancouver Police are concerned after a woman was sexually assaulted on the seawall Tuesday afternoon. Jana McGuiness says the woman was out walking her dog along the seawall near B.C. Place around 5:15 p.m. when she was grabbed. “A man approached from behind, reached up her skirt and grabbed her buttocks. Obviously very shocking. The woman turned and confronted him and he ran away.”
McGuinness says it’s troubling the man attacked in daylight in such a busy place. “its a place where people are walking, jogging cycling so this is disturbing in that the suspect felt comfortable enough to make an attempt like that.”
The woman assaulted got a good look at the man, and McGuiness describes the suspect as being white and in his twenties, “He’s 5’7″ with a slim to medium build, and short dirty messy blonde hair, he had bright blue eyes and acne scars on his face.”
