A man and woman are facing multiple charges after a string of incidents this week that resulted in thousands of dollars in products being stolen.
Halifax Regional Police said they got a call from a loss prevention officer at the Sephora in the Halifax Shopping Centre. The officer told police they had detained a man and a woman for theft.
When officials arrived, they said the same suspect man and woman were wanted in connection with two other cases of theft.
In one of the previous incidents, police were looking into a theft at another Sephora, this time at Dartmouth Crossing on July 20. Another theft took place on July 19 at the Sephora at Mic Mac Mall.
According to police, more than $10,000 of product was taken from the three stores over two days.
As a result Izabela Serban, 22, is charged with theft under $5,000 (three counts) and possession of property obtained by crime under $5,000 (three counts).
Alex Cioriia, 23, faces similar theft charges in connection with three incidents.
The pair are scheduled to appear in a Halifax court at a later date.
