Police seeking suspect after car wreck injures three

Three people were sent to hospital after a serious car crash in Dartmouth.
Police say a Toyota Corolla and a Chevy Silverado crashed head-on just after 2 a.m. on Braemar Drive near Braeside Court.
Sgt. Richard Gilroy says the jaws of life were needed to get three passengers out of the Corolla, who suffered broken bones.
Gilroy says the cause of the crash is still being investigated.
“Obviously the weather is certainly a factor,” he said. “We’re investigating to see whether alcohol was part of the scenario. We don’t know that yet, it’s still under investigation.”
The driver of the Silverado fled the scene on foot toward Waverley Road, and has yet to be found by police.
