Liberal leader faces tough questions from high-schoolers

Liberal leader Michael Ignatieff faced a tough but friendly crowd in Bedford on Friday.
Ignatieff capped off a day long trip to Nova Scotia with a town hall style meeting at Bedford’s CP Allen High School.
The students packed into the library for just over an hour yesterday.
There was no shortage of students wanting to ask a question of the Liberal leader.
What would he do if elected prime minister one wondered.
“[I’d make] big changes. I want to pull us together as a country,” said the Liberal leader. “I often think over the last four years that we’ve become less than the sum of our parts.”
What about growing concerns about water shortages asked another.
“We’ve got a drought in Alberta right now,” he said. “It’s only April and there’s already a serious water shortage.”
When it ended, Ignatieff was presented with a t-shirt and scarf with CP Allen High’s school colours.
