N.S. gas prices poised for a hike

You might want to fill your gas tank today.

News 95.7 is predicting Nova Scotia’s regulated gas prices are set to climb by two to 2.5 cents a litre tonight.

Regular self-serve is currently going for $1.05.2 in metro.

The increase is a result of the slightly lower loonie combined with rising wholesale prices.

At this time last year, we were paying 90.7 cents a litre in metro.

In New Brunswick, regulated prices rose by slightly more than a penny overnight to a new maximum of $1.05.4. Most stations are selling for a couple of cents less.
