Irving working to raise sunken dry dock

Irving Oil is still trying to figure out how to raise a very wet dry dock that sunk at the Halifax Shipyards on the weekend.
The dock, known as Scotia Dock II, submerged to lift a tugboat out of the water on Saturday but kept sinking.
No one was hurt but it’s now about 15 metres below water.
An Irving spokesperson tells the CBC they’re preparing plans to raise the dock.
Naval architects have been called in, but it may still take days to get it above water.
An oil boom has been deployed around the submerged dry-dock but harbour officials report there’s no visible oil at this time.
