VANCOUVER (NEWS1130) – Sure it’s fun by yourself but it’s always better with a partner. Studies have shown that working out and having ‘intimate relations’ produce the same type of high from the release of endorphins.
So Peter Pereira with Fit2Touch says why not combine the two? He did. “Basically you are using each other — each others’ bodies, more specifically — to get a resistance workout,” he says.
An example? “The man can lie on his back and the woman clasps his hands and he basically pushes her up and down, kind of like chest press while she’s doing a push-up.”
It’s kama sutra in sweatpants!
He says you get fit and get quality time together. “It gets the endorphins flowing and, once you sweat, you get the pheromones … it helps you feel more connected, more sexy, more attracted to your partner,” says Pereira. “Especially for women. The better in shape they are, the more intense the orgasms. And the more fit you are, the more you enjoy sex.”
