Dry dock progressing from harbour floor to harbour surface

That dry-dock owned by J.D Irving currently sitting at the bottom of the Halifax harbour is a little closer to being back at sea-level.
The CBC reports efforts to pump out Scotia Dock II began on Friday morning and continued through the weekend.
Crews need to proceed with caution because the hull consists of multiple chambers and each one has to be pumped put at the same rate or the dock could be damaged.
When the dock reaches the surface it will get a thorough inspection.
There’s no word on when that will take place.
