N.S. gas prices take another surprise tumble

After several months, we’re back in the 90s at the gas pumps.

The price has fallen by more than predicted for the second week in a row.

The new price for regular self-serve in metro is 98.1 cents a litre, a 2.7 cent drop from Thursday.

Diesel prices also fell by nearly two cents to a new maximum price of 96.4.

Nova Scotia gas prices are now less than three cents higher than New Brunswick’s – which is unusual, given the difference in fuel taxes.
