Passenger dies after Bedford crash

A young man who was a passenger in a car that crashed in Bedford has died of his injuries at the QEII.

The 19 year old was a passenger in a Volkswagen Jetta that turned into an on-coming SUV near the corner of Duke and Damascus Streets, Wednesday around 2 p.m.

There were two teen girls in the car as well, including the driver.  Both are listed in fair and stable condition in hospital.

The driver of the SUV was not injured.

Police are not releasing any names and are still investigating how the accident happened.
