Vancouver already preparing for 2011 Grey Cup Game

VANCOUVER (NEWS1130) – The 2010 CFL season hasn’t started yet, but the BC Lions are already gearing up for hosting the 2011 Grey Cup at the refurbished BC Place Stadium–November 27, 2011. Today Vancouver’s Grey Cup logo and committee were introduced.
The 2011 Grey Cup committee chairman will be Moray Keith, while Scott Ackles will be General Manager of the 99th Grey Cup Game. The committee members include Bruce Allen, Vancouver Mayor Gregor Robertson, City Councillor Suzanne Anton, Senator Larry Campbell, Vancouver Sun Vice President Jamie Pitblado, and ICBC CEO Jon Schubert.
The Grey Cup logo incorporates the Lions colours, the new-look BC Place, as well as unique west coast elements such as the Pacific Ocean, and the mountains.
