Halifax Regional Police are warning the public about a violent offender who hasn’t reported to his halfway house since May 30.
Michael Ralph Crowell, 43, is on parole for violent offences and has been deemed a high risk to re-offend. He didn’t return to his halfway house in Halifax as required on Saturday and a parole warrant was issued for his request – but the HRP-RCMP High-Risk Enforcement Action Team hasn’t been able to find him.
Police say Crowell should be considered armed and dangerous and members of the public shouldn’t approach him.
Anyone with information regarding his whereabouts is asked to call police or Crime Stoppers.
