Police make arrest in Musquodoboit arson

RCMP are investigating an arson case in the Musquodoboit area on the weekend.
Two people were inside the home that was targeted, however they managed to escape in time.
RCMP spokesperson Cpl. Joe Taplin says a neighbour saw something suspicious.
“When we arrived on scene we were advised by a witness who observed a male running away from the house with what she believed was a jerrycan,” says Taplin.
Police arrested a 34-year-old man and he is facing charges of arson, and arson with a disregard for human life.
