Missing man found dead in Five Island Lake

The body of a missing fisherman was found early Tuesday morning at Five Island Lake in Hubley.
Floyd Nicholson, 71, went out fishing Monday evening at 7:15 and RCMP Cpl. Joe Taplin says the search began when he failed to return.
“Family members located the boat partially submerged around 5 a.m. this morning,” says Taplin. “At that time, HRM fire services were dispatched to the area where the boat was found. The male was found deceased approximately 200 metres from where his boat was located.”
Taplin says the man was wearing a flotation device. An autopsy is being performed on the body today to determine the cause of death.
