Police have a man in custody after a string of break and enters in Dartmouth over the past few months.
The investigation began on June 7 when officers say they watched a suspect approach a number of homes.
They say he didn’t enter the homes but was engaged in “suspicious activity” consistent with trying to break in.
That man was located last Friday and was arrested without incident.
Robert Gordon Reid, 36, of Dartmouth is charged with seven counts of break and enter and seven counts of attempted break and enter.
