Charges laid in New Germany shooting

A man has been charged with murder in Wednesday’s shooting outside a grocery store in New Germany.
Tina Eisnor died late Wednesday after she was shot in the head in the parking lot.
RCMP Sgt. Bridgit Leger tells News 95.7 the accused is Eisnor’s estranged husband:
“The RCMP have charged Wayne Paul Eisnor, 47, of Barss Corner, Lunenburg County with first degree murder in the shooting death of Christina Mae Eisnor,” said Leger. “She’s 43, from Hemford, Lunenburg, and that’s in relation to the New Germany shooting which occurred on June 30.”
Witnesses say the shooter turned the gun on himself.
Wayne Eisnor is in critical condition but he’s been scheduled for a court date.
