Man burned in auto shop flash fire

A 22-year-old man is in hospital following a small explosion at a Halifax repair shop.
He and another man were working on a vehicle at the Maritime Motor
Coach Service Centre on Almon Street when flames erupted from the engine compartment.
Brian Fleckney with the Halifax Fire Department says the man in hospital suffered first- and second-degree burns to nearly half his body.
The second man suffered only minor injuries.
