Man killed in Truro street fight

Truro police are talking to several people of interest after the death of a 26-year-old man in a street fight.
Several 911 calls came in around 2 a.m. Thursday about the brawl in Truro’s east end.
People took off when officers arrived to find a few people with injuries – and the victim already dead.
Speaking on CTV, Truro Police Chief David MacNeil says the dustup wasn’t a random occurence or an act of domestic violence.
“We believe the parties were known to each other at this point, but we’re not speculating on motive at this point in time,” he told reporters.
Police haven’t identified the victim, but the Herald quotes friends who say he is Benjamin Hare, a local DJ who they call a good friend and great guy.
