Muggings keep police busy

Regional police are investigating another street robbery in Halifax.

Around 10 o’clock Monday night on Tower Road a 21-year-old woman was assaulted by a teenage girl and had her cell phone taken.

The young woman was taken to the QE2 for non-life threatening injuries.

Police say they have made an arrest in another robbery on Spring Garden Road on Sunday. In that case another young woman was grabbed, her hair pulled and her purse stolen.

Police have arrested a 34-year-old woman in that case. She goes to court today.
