Preliminary hearing set for cabbie’s accused killer

The young man accused in the murder of a local cabbie will have his preliminary hearing in May 2011.

Chaze Lamar Thompson, 20, is charged in the January 2009 shooting death of Sergei Kostin.

The remains of the married father of two were found in April 2009 in North Preston, months after his disappearance.

Thompson is currently serving a four-year sentence for robbing a Dartmouth video store.

He appeared in Dartmouth provincial court Monday.
