Halifax Farmers’ Market set to move

If you aren’t making it to this week’s Farmers’ Market at the Keith’s Brewery there’s only one more chance to do so.
July 31 will be the final Farmers’ Market at the old brewery before farmers and vendors move into their shiny new digs at the waterfront.
The Halifax Seaport Market located at Pier 20 will boast a spacious shopping area as well as several environmentally sustainable features.
Halifax Farmers’ Market Operations Manager Theresa Cole says the team is all very busy getting the final touches completed.
They’ve started to take over the building from the construction company which usually takes a week.
She says they will begin their move to the new facility after the market closes next Saturday with the first market at the seaport taking place Saturday August 7.
