Self-proclaimed Apple geeks camped out on the streets of Halifax to be among the first in Canada to get their hands on the new iPhone 4.
Adam arrived at the Rogers store on Spring Garden Road around 2:45 a.m.. He and his two friends were the first people in the door when the store opened, and Adam was the first customer out the door clutching the new gadget.
“I’ve never done anything like this before,” he says. “It’s solid. It’s quite an upgrade over the other one, like really great upgrade.”
He says he’s most excited about the high definition recording capabilities and said the first thing he’s going to try is the video chat once his friends finished up inside the store.
Meanwhile, half way across the country lines began to form at 8:30 p.m. Thursday.

“I’m sure they’re going to fix it very quickly,” said Patrick while he waited for a Toronto store to open. “At the end of the day I don’t think we spend a lot of time talking on the phone we probably do more texting and going on Facebook and all the other applications more so than talking.”
