Early morning raid yields guns, drugs, arrests

Drugs and guns were uncovered after an early morning raid on a home in Clayton Park.

Local police and the Mounties teamed up and executed a search warrant around 5 a.m. in the 200 block of Farnham Gate Road, near Dunbrack Ave on Thursday.

Police say they found and seized marijuana, pills and drug paraphernalia. They also found two loaded hand guns.

Four people were arrested at the scene.

A 43-year old woman, a 20 year-old man and a 15 year-old boy, all from Halifax, are facing charges related to drug trafficking and weapons. A 48 year-old North Preston man is facing similar charges.
