Sea King crew makes unexpected landing

MONCTON, NB-A Sea King crew isn’t hurt after making an unexpected landing in Lower Sackville last night.

The crew set the helicopter down in an empty field behind some houses after getting indications of mechanical trouble.

Karen MacIntyre tells CTV she was making tea in her kitchen and saw the helicopter circling low.

She says she knew it was going to land, and then watched it happen in a field near her home.

Technicians have checked the chopper over, and at last word it was still in the Lower Sackville field.
