Dog attacks owner’s family after heated argument

A dog who attacked three people in their northeast home Sunday has been seized by bylaw officers.
Mark Travadi, the owner of the Staffordshire terrier, says his pet was amid a verbal fight when he became aggressive and attacked.
Alphie the dog bit Travadi’s nephew’s foot and then took a nip at his sister’s thigh.
Travadi intervened and took his dog to the garage where it bit his arm.
The three people attacked were rushed to hospital and the pooch the was taken by bylaw services. It will be quarantined and assessed over the next ten days.
It’s not the first time Alphie has become aggressive.
Travadi tells the Calgary Sun, at one point a police officer called to the house to break up a fight between he and his brother, had to pull a gun on the dog when it became aggressive.
