Man arrested in three-month-old murder case

A man is under arrest in connection with a Dartmouth murder.

Regional police spokesman Constable Brian Palmeter says they picked up the unidentified man this morning during a traffic stop.

“This morning’s arrest came on the 111 highway at 9:45 a.m. when a traffic stop was conducted by our integrated major crime unit who was assisted by our quick response unit and patrol officers,” he said. “At that time a man was taken into custody in connection with the May 30th homicide of Grant Kidston.”

The 47-year-old’s body was found by police in an apartment in the 100 block of Victoria Road.

The investigation is continuing.
