An extra-long weekend just got even longer for some students in Dartmouth.

Halifax Regional School Board officials say John Martin Jr. High will be closed again today.

The school’s electrical service entrance was damaged during Hurricane Earl and had to be replaced, prompting the school’s closure on Tuesday.

A release from the board today says an extra day is needed to re-connect power, but classes are expected to resume on Thursday.
