Halifax liquor store robbed at knifepoint

The NSLC on Clyde Street is a crime scene after it was robbed Sunday evening.
Police say a man walked into the store around 5 p.m. with a knife and got away with an undisclosed amount of cash.
Police spokesperson Brian Palmeter says the culprit dropped the knife during the commission of the crime and so it’s being dusted for prints.
“The knife was seized by invetigators and it will be examined by our forensic identification unit,” he says. “We will be looking to see if there’s video, not only from the store, but in the area, that may be able to assist in our investigation.”
The thief is described as a light-skinned, dark male. He’s between the ages of 25 and 30, almost 6 feet tall and about 200 pounds. He had a round face with pointy sunglasses and spoke with some sort of accent.
