Police searching for missing Halifax man

Regional police are asking the public to help find a missing Halifax man.

James Edward Askew was last seen Aug. 31 and reports suggest he’s headed to Ontario – but that can’t be confirmed.

Askew requires medication and there’s concern he’ll become a danger to himself and others if he doesn’t take it.

He’s described as white, five-foot-seven, 150 pounds with hazel eyes and a moustache. He was last seen wearing black shorts, black and white sneakers, and always wears a baseball hat. He was also carrying a gray, red and white kit back with “Canada” written on it.

Anyone with information on Askew’s whereabouts is asked to call Halifax Regional Police at 490-5016.
