Halifax Regional Police are looking into a report of a break, enter and armed robbery at a residence on the 2,000 block of Oxford Street. And investigators don’t believe it was a random incident.

Around 9 p.m. Saturday, police were called by the vicims who told them several men had entered the home. One of them allegedly carried a firearm.

They told police they were ordered down on the floor and they were kept there while the others went through the house.    The suspects took electronics, cash and other undisclosed items.

Police say there could have been four or five guys involved, but the victims only saw two of them.

The first suspect is described as a black male between 23 and 30 years of age, over six feet tall and more than 250 pounds. He was wearing black sweat pants and a black jacket with the hood pulled up tight. He had a wood hammer handle sticking out of the right sweater pocket.

The second suspect is a black male between 19 and 20 years of age. He’s 5′ 10″, 170 pounds with black sweatpants, black sneakers, a dark hoodie and short black hair. The victims say he had a black handgun in his right hand.

Police say no one was hurt in the incident.
