Bar robbed at knifepoint

A bar on Kempt Road was robbed at knifepoint, Sunday evening.

Police say a man walked into the establishment around 6 p.m., and used a knife to demand cash from the staff.  No word how much the thief made off with before running out of the bar.

Officers and K9 units searched the area for the man, but did not find him.

There’s only a vague description of the thief; he’s a light-skinned black man in his 30s.  He’s 5’11” and 220 pounds.  He was wearing a black jacket, black pants and a black ski mask.
