Regional police are looking for two masked men after an armed robbery at a Burnside Tim Horton’s.
Staff Sgt. Reid McCoombs tells News 95.7 the two men walked into the store on Ilsley Avenue just after 4 a.m today and locked the staffers in a back room.
McCoombs says the pair had a weapon.
“The two suspects were believed to be armed with a handgun, or what appeared to be a handgun,” he said.
McCoombs says the employees weren’t hurt, and were able to speak with investigators after the theft.
He says K9 units searched for the suspects, but the description is limited.
“Just two males armed with a handgun, wearing masks believed to be skull-type masks,” he said.
It’s not clear what was taken from the store.
